Outdoor Pest Repeller - Battery Powered

Code: SP0093
Outdoor Pest Repeller - Battery Powered
Outdoor pest repeller, Squirrel- Battery powered

Product Description:

Battery-powered pest repeller and rodent deterrent with motion sensor. Easily fixed to a wall, fence or post, it should be low to the ground for rodents and ideally at "ear level" for other animals. With coverage of approx 5000 sq feet its ideal for keeping away those unwanted pests. In addition to rodents this model can also be used to control other pests like Wasps, Mice, Rats, Deer, Foxes, Dogs etc. Of course, as with all methods involving animal behaviour, we can’t guarantee effectiveness in every situation, however, our own experience and the feedback we get from customers suggests that this device is effective in most situations. Please note that if you leave food out for birds, the food will be an attractant to rodents and squirrels, making it more difficult for any repeller to be effective. Complete with "on/off" switch to save the battery when not required. (in normal use, expect battery life of 3 - 4 months depending on how many times the PIR motion sensor is activated). It will affect cat and dog pets if they are outside, but the noise wont pass through the walls of the house.

Has an effective range of 40ft (both PIR and ultrasound distance).

Takes 6 of the C size batteries.

It shouldn't affect birds, however, please note that if you're trying to use it in a bird house, the motion sensor will be activated by the birds and the battery won't last long.

"The squirrel is still trying to get into my loft but actually hasn't got in. I am at present trying the squirrel repel in different positions. Hopefully if I try and place the device right at the edge of the loft space, where it meets the guttering, it will deter the squirrel. "

"Doesn't appear to work for squirrels! Will try on the feral pigeons to see what results I get."

"Very disappointed that this doesn't work. We are still being plagued with squirrels digging the lawn. We reported that we thought it was faulty and we had email conversations defending the device and told to give it a month to become effective. I requested a refund but when I received the return code the email also said that the product had to be unused and still in unopened packaging, difficult when we had previously reported that the squirrels were sitting in front of it! We have decided to try it for the requisite 28 days but obviously we will then be unable to return as it would fall outside the qualifying time."

"They work well initially but are not really waterproof! I have three and in the recent rain they have filled up with water and stopped working! I have had to dry them off and hope that the will work again!"

"Outdoor pest repeller, Squirrel - Battery powered... We had been struggling to get rid of squirrels in our loft for weeks. We had a mains rodent ultrasonic and EM repelling device, but that did not work. The squirrels got used to it and eventually played with it like a toy. So we decided to give the outdoor battery repeller a try. The device was delivered promptly, and was packaged securely. I really appreciate a company that avoids excess packaging. I am so impressed with this device. It doesn't look like much when you get it out of the box, was smaller than I had anticipated, but worked like a dream. It has a dial that is clearly marked for different animals, from wasps to deer and everything in-between. I was sceptical about this also - but it works! I plan on buying a number of these to chase off fouling cats in my veggie patch, and dogs out front who use my drive as a toilet. This is a motion sensing device so the batteries last quite a long time. I put it in the loft and when the squirrels made one of their frequent daily visits, the device sensed their movement and turned on. Within milliseconds they were running for the outside. There is one older one that is particularly tenacious, but even she could not stand the ultrasonic wave that hit her every time she tried to move into the loft. It has been a few weeks now and they have tried once or twice to return, but have been repelled each time. I love this product - it means I did not have to get the exterminator in which makes me very happy. One thing I did notice however is that when you turn the dial up, children can hear it. Mine are between the ages of 6 and 13, and they all squealed when I turned it up, even when they were in other rooms. At its highest it irritated my ears too, but I am very sensitive to sound. In the loft it does not bother them, but it might be something to consider if you use it in the garden with children around. You would definitely have to keep to the lower frequency range for your pest problem. "

"thank you for your follow up inquiry, it is appreciated. Unfortunately the squirrels despite changing frequency still ignore the deterrent batteries good, think trapping will be the only recourse and move them on, please send me a trap as it is the right time ( babies) , you have my account details please confirm this transaction thanks"
