Woven shade sails are the most effective sail shades for offering maximum UV protection. The ultra-tight weave of the fabric has been independently tested to UPF50+ making these sail shades near impenetrable by sunlight.
More than 98% of harmful UV rays are blocked out as a result.
Knitted sail shades are designed with small holes in the weave to allow hot air to escape and to keep it from getting too warm underneath the sail. However, if you want the extra reassurance in case of wet weather, a tighter weave is ideal. You can enjoy maximum UV protection and shelter from the rain without worrying about being uncomfortably warm beneath your sail shade.
Our hardware kits are ideal for installing triangular sail shades to all solid structures such as concrete, brickwork and wooden beams. The high quality fixtures are available in stainless or galvanized steel. The kit includes everything you need for quick and easy installation.
Stainless Steel for $69.99: Or Galvanized Steel for $39.99
"Very prompt, lovely colours, good size. Although one triangle had morphed in to a rectangle, but used it anyway."
